Callie McKenzie was born in Asheville North Carolina in 1996.  She grew up in Florida during some of her childhood; however, She is currently located in South Carolina, where she received her undergraduate degree in studio arts as a first generation student at Converse College. During her time in her undergraduate degree she has completed a gallery internship with the White Rabbit Fine Art Gallery located in Traveler Rest, Greenville South Carolina. She works with a variety of mediums including painting, drawing, and photo transfers. She is currently working on a body of work that touches on how death of a love one impacts childhood and affects family.
